Ms. Borgheiinck is licensed to practice law in Illinois. Her primary area of practice is family law. She graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law, after successfully completing the JD/MBA program with Magna Cum Laude honors. She is pleased to bring her years of outside experience into the legal profession to assist those she represents.

Ms. Borgheiinck has a specific interest in dispute resolution, and she completed two specialized courses (Mediation and Divorce Mediation) at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California during her course of study. Ms. Borgheiinck fulfilled an externship at the Cook County, Illinois Domestic Relations Division under the supervision of Judge William S. Boyd during her final semester of graduate study. She also trained under Professor Boraca, at the Hesed House Health Clinic in Aurora, Il. Ms. Borgheiinck worked as a Graduate Assistant for the College of Business, and as an Academic Success Program tutor at the College of Law.

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Ms. Borgheiinck worked as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) serving in both Minnesota and South Dakota, a Bank Teller, an on-board Photographer for Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), and for the Midwest Regional Office of McDonalds.

In the past Ms. Borgheiinck has been involved with her local division of the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC), where she co-led an Oral History Project which earned An Award on Education. For seven years, she served on her school’s alumni association leadership board as the newsletter editor and photographer. In 2016, Ms. Borgheiinck was the youngest member ever to be inducted into the Alumni’s Hall of Fame.

Ms. Borgheiinck enjoys volleyball, live theatre, and traveling, and she is looking forward to getting involved in her new community.
